Dude with the angelic halo
Once in a while
you run into an angel.
You know, the gaiaonline.com kind,
that has an angelic halo,
the first monthly collectible/
donation thank you letter item.
It's like catching a Candy Striper,
the rarest of fish in gaia's fishing,
only it has increased in value
thousands upon thousands of gaia gold,
until it's rare to see.
To speak to someone like that,
is to be humbled,
if one values the game.
And to hear them speak,
is to see what the wise elderly are like
to the children in past generations
of the hilltop monasteries.
Just the difference
a choice to make a donation made.
Just the difference
in discovering something first made.
Just the difference
and anyone could have been them.
To me,
it is only the fact that it would
be next to impossible to achieve
that makes it unique.
Perhaps it is to the member
with the angelic halo as well.
