On Cutting Cards
In the cling, the clung-to,
the clinging of the recession-filled
mind
I hung
from the thought
of perhaps
just one more set
of my own printed up
business cards.
But to top it off,
I must go back whence I came,
to the store
I bought the card stock.
Why?
To cut the cards,
in an evener cut than scissors.
