Donald R. Anderson A room at the end of the tunnel There's a room at the end of the tunnel. A room where when we go for our last walk down that long long tunnel, a door that when we open that door, will be what is past a door. In that room will be the credit checkers that offer and advertise free services. In that room will be the diet pill suppliers that offer free samples of expensive addictive pills. In that room will be the credit debt fixers that will tell you the secrets that they, the credit card companies, don't want you to know. In that room will be the man that will announce your social security number on radios nationwide because he says he's protecting your identity. In that room will be the emailers from Siberia and South Sudan and Peru, and Iraq, that had their funds trapped in their country at the sudden death by plane crash and that need your personal identity theft information in order to transfer 6.2 million dollars into your account. In that room will be the car salesman, handshaking the politicians. In that room will be the news reporters and commentators. In that room... In that room it will be a balmy 98 degrees in post hurricane Florida. And horizon to horizon will be covered in ash from distant fires on oil wells in the Middle East.
