Donald R. Anderson Tin Mint I take a mint from the tin of mints, the tin mint dime shines in my pocket. What's in my pocket? I take a minute to take a mint from a friend, it's not theft if it's a gift. Guilt or remorse? Which is worse? Is the mint too strong, or is it that the gift is too great? I take a mint from the tin mint, and watch Tin Cup. The golfer makes an amazing shot. I'm shot with the strength of the peppermint. It's at a poetry gathering, we read, yet I cannot concentrate for the guilt of having had a mint. A mint. This mint. This moment. This minute.
