Donald R. Anderson Arachnophobia The moments clear in the lamp light of black widow spider webbed in behind the dresser. One moment there, the next it senses movement, and hides. I spray the area later, but perhaps it has eluded demise. Just as long as it has gone outside, I shan't care. But something tells me it not out there. So I sleep careful, not to stretch into the cracks around my bed with sleepy restless arms, lest the danger lurks there.
